# Tradable Items

In **SomniaExchange** , **Chickens are more than just in game assets they are fully tradable NFTs**. This means players can **buy, sell, and trade** them on NFT marketplaces, creating a dynamic player driven economy. Whether you’re looking to expand your flock or cash in on rare Chickens, the marketplace adds another layer of strategy and value to the game.

## Portal

The Portal is a system that allows you to convert your Chickens back into NIA tokens. In practice, it lets you burn your NFTs in exchange for NIA, helping to curb inflation while also regulating the market with a price floor.

Like all other adjustable parameters, this mechanism will eventually be governed by the DAO.
