# Liquidity to Earn

Your chickens are laying eggs  but how do you hatch them? \
You’ll need an **Incubation Machine**.

The incubator doesn’t run for free. It needs **Energy tokens** to operate. So where do you get Energy? Head over to the **Energy Station**.

Here’s how it works:

1. Add liquidity to the **NIA–USDC** pair.
2. Receive LP tokens in return.
3. Stake those LP tokens to start generating **Energy tokens**.

The amount of Energy you earn depends on your share of the liquidity pool. The more liquidity you provide, the faster you’ll generate Energy which means faster hatching.

At launch, the **maximum daily Energy production** will be defined by the Somnia Exchange team. Later, all values and upgrades will be in the hands of the **DAO**.

## Egg Production & Incubation

If you have enough Energy tokens, you can hatch your eggs in the Incubator. Each hatch has a chance to produce a new Chicken with a randomly assigned fertility rate. Over time, as your coop grows, it will become more and more productive.
